Purpose of the Job
Perform semi-skilled level work in the construction, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, apparatus and fixtures.
Basic

Requirements
• Grade 10 or Equivalent
• N1-N3 in electrical engineering will be an added advantage.
• At least 3years experience in similar environment.
• Experience in 33kv, 66kv and 132Kv is required
• Training in Live Work - ORHVS
- Live work gloving
- First aid
- Fire fighter
- Risk assessment
- Fall protection and rescue
- Equipotential
- Medical
- Working on height
- Basic rigging
• Drivers Licence

Key performance Areas:


Construction/maintenance of transmission/distribution facilities in a cost effective manner


 Account for all construction materials (issues, returns, salvage, etc.) and toolbox properly


Perform duties safely and in accordance with Zedek Electrical safety rules
 Comply with applicable codes and standards


Maintain effective working relationships with employees/customers at all levels within Zedek Electrical. Ensure smooth operations, productive communications, and effective understanding during all interpersonal contacts.

Provide current and accurate information to all requesters, courteously and in a timely manner.


Work safely and cooperatively with the public.
