Position Requirements:
Degree in Marine industry, Master Mariner or Chief Engineer Certificate or alternatively, Chief Officer or 2nd Engineer Certificate depending on experience.
Minimum 4 years’ experience including 2 years as Officer on watch LNG/LPG or oil carriers with 2 years in a senior management position in H.O. of a large gas / oil shipping company.
Knowledge of technical and operations for large gas carriers or tankers owned and managed.
Knowledge of Gaseous cargo containment systems, cargo handling equipment and systems of large gas carriers owned and managed.
Fully conversant with International, National Statutory requirements and developments in the marine industry (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, ISPS, SOPEP and ISOs.)
Knowledge of propulsion systems (motor & steam) and reliquefaction plants on modern large vessels.
Analytical, problem solving, time management, project management, report writing and decision making skills
Proficient in IT, Microsoft Office applications
