Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

• Proofreading and editing lesson materials

• Daily, weekly, and monthly evaluation/monitoring of quality of written output (student resources or teacher resources, or both)

• Assembling and maintaining a style guide for the Learning & Development team

• Collaboration with the Senior ESL Writers on various tasks and projects, particularly quality control

• Participation in or leadership of projects as assigned by the company

• Any other tasks or duties as assigned by the company

Requirements:

• A degree in ESL/EFL, English, Communication, Education or related fields

• Experience teaching English as a foreign language online

• Excellent English grammar, syntax, spelling, and punctuation

• The ability to work fast with very high accuracy

• TESOL OR CELTA certification an advantage

• Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style

• Good computer skills

• An aptitude for learning
