A well established catering company in Abu Dhabi is on the lookout for a qualified, certified Training Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi.
He /She will be responsible for providing the training structure support and assistance to the operations team. Provide consistently high quality and professional services to internal and external customers


• Adheres to the company's health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) policy and procedures

• Ensures that all maintenance is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, upholding the organisation's standard

• Actively participates in the HSEQ Committee at the Facility

• Ensures manual handling and chemical handling protocols are followed at all times

• Ensures all team members uniform is clean and personal hygiene requirements are maintained

• Identifies and reports hazards, risks and incidents to the Hospitality General Manager

• Conducts regular checks of all equipment, reporting any faults to the Hospitality General Manager

• Operates all tools and equipment following the relevant protocol & wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Plans, develops, and implements trainings as per the requirement of the operation & client

• Ensures all trainings are planned and communicated to the concerned departments

• Ensures purchase orders are issued and invoices checked against goods received, reporting any discrepancy to the Hospitality General Manager

• Ensures that regular stocktakes are conducted and inventoried against established, Facility-specific, par levels
• Develops and mentors all team members to ensure optimum performance and productivity

• Provides coaching and feedback to Service Delivery and Production team members, as applicable


• Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent is required

• Diploma/Certificate in Training and Assessment is desirable

•Current First Aid Certificate (preferred, not essential)

• Food Hygiene Certificate


•Minimum of five to ten (5 to 10) years' experience in a similar role within a Hospital HR department or similar environment such as a Flight Kitchen / 5 - 7 Star hotel is required.

• UAE and/or regional experience are required.

• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude

• Confident at communicating clearly and effectively in a culturally diverse environment

• Excellent standard of personal presentation & hygiene

• Disciplined, with a strong work ethic

• Ability to work well both autonomously and as part of a team

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Strong conflict & complaint resolution skills

• Microsoft Office skills, including word & excel
