About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Waitor (Food & Beverage Host/ess) to join the team at Home Bakery. The main purpose of the role is to achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and work closely with Front of the House and Back of the House colleagues

About the Job

Customer Service - Is able to confidently serve customers as per the brand standards. Looks for ways to go above and beyond the guest's expectations
Has a full understanding and can explain when asked the brand concept, history and vision
Has completed basic food hygiene, works in a safe and hygienic manner at all times
Communicate any out of stock items to manager or team leader when stocks are running low
Communicate to managers any issues immediately
Actively engages with colleagues and customers at all times
Make simple decisions that affect work or guest's experience in a positive manner
Able to work as part of a team and contribute ideas where necessary
Has very good product knowledge and is able to confidently describe food and beverage items to a guest
Can confidently take a guest's food & beverage order and ask all relevant questions where necessary
Ensure that all side duties and cleaning schedules are completed as per daily checklists
Actively look for ways in which they can develop their career
Complete all checklist as required daily , weekly and monthly for the outlet
Can run food and communicate with the kitchen with confidence
Can accommodate and pack take away orders as per the brand standard
Attend and ask all training as required by the business  

About You

In order to be considered for this role, you will have an Tertiary Education or Diploma in Food & Beverage Management with a minimum of 1 year of experience at Waitor level working within a free-standing Restaurant. This is a very "hands on" and demanding position so it is paramount that you work well in a team but are also able to set standards and lead by example at all times. It is also essential that you have good command of the English language (spoken and written).
