Team JMF is looking for a talented, experienced (UAE F&B sector) and self-motivated to join its team as 'Procurement Manager - Food&Beverages '. The candidate will be working in close association and reporting direct to the Managing Director.

In simple terms:

• Devise and employ fruitful sourcing strategies
  
• Discover the most profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships
  
• Craft negotiation strategies
  
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms
  
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
  
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
  
• Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
  
• Finalize details of orders and deliveries
  
• Examine and re-evaluate existing contracts
  
• Identify, set, track, evaluate, and report key functional metrics/ KPI's to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
  
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
  
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
  
• Anticipate unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
  
• Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements
  
• Assess, manage and mitigate risks
  
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
  
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
  

• Experience working as a procurement manager.
  
• Local and international supplier contacts and knowledge.
  
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
  
• A knack for negotiation and networking
  
• Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures
  
• Solid judgement along with decision-making skills
  
• Strong leadership capabilities
  
• BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
