One of our reputable government company in the field of Media Entertainment is looking for a "HR & Admin Manager (UAE National)" in Abu Dhabi UAE.
Supervise, plan, and organize the day-to-day activities of the Unit ensuring that the staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Oversee the processing and disposition of a wide range of staff recruitment, payroll, and personnel administration / action documentation; verifying completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established policy and procedural requirements
Ensure the accurate entry of source data into the human resources database
Provide accurate interpretation of human resources policies and procedures
Plan and deliver presentations on certain topics, as and when required
Identify training needs of the work unit staff and submit recommendations to the Line Manager
Direct & oversee the design, development and management of the HR governance framework, ensuring alignment of all business units to promote company Establishment's vision, mission and strategic objectives.
Define the HR organization structure to achieve efficient operations & services to meet the strategic objectives of the department.
Lead and manage the effective achievement of the HR departmental objectives through the leadership of the department - setting individual objectives, recruiting qualified staff, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximize subordinate and departmental performance.
Direct and oversee the development & management of manpower & recruitment strategies in line with company business strategy, global best practices to meet the organisational requirement while promoting company as an employer of choice.
Approve the monthly payroll to ensure timely salary administration to all employees.
Direct and oversee the development & implementation of an Emiratisation strategy to attract, develop, retain UAE Nationals to establish a qualified talent pool and support Emiratisation targets in order to facilitate the achievement organisational & UAE Government vision.
Develop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal departments & external entities (such as joint venture partners, company business units, government authorities etc) with highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organisation are delivered in the most effective manner.
Perform any other job-related task or assignment as directed by the Line Manager
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge Skills & Experience)
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
2 to 3 years work experience as a HR manager or similar role
Experience of defining, implementing and managing HR policies and procedures, including appraisal systems, job descriptions etc.
Experience in using HR systems
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrable skills in database management and record keeping
Knowledge of UAE employment laws and practices
Excellent English, Arabic oral and written communication skills
Experience managing individuals within a team
