FM Soft Services Operations Manager (Airport)
The Soft Services Operations Manager has a highly customer focused role, building relationships with internal customers as well as subcontractors and / or managing directly employed staff.
•Act as the interface between the client and Contract Director, ensuring the efficient and compliant delivery of soft services on site.
•Oversee the day to day management of the soft services on site, including those sub contracted
•Lead and develop a team to deliver a high quality service
•To work closely with all stakeholders, to ensure strong commercial focus in all areas of operation.
•Responsible for the delivery in accordance with the maintenance strategy in-house, contracted office services and soft facilities management services to the standards directed
•Control and monitor the financial performance of the unit and to maintain costs within pre-budgeted targets.
•Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels within the Company and the Client organization.
•Responsible for providing a key interface between the organisation and customers and the contracted service providers on a day to day basis.
•Coordinate the work assignments of the team members to ensure prompt and efficient services to Clients.
•Implement and maintain the Statutory and Company standards of hygiene, health and safety and take any action as is and corrects operational barriers that hinder successful performance by developing innovative solutions.
•Responsible for financial tracking and reporting to ensure all services are delivered within agreed budgets and service levels
•Ensure statutory obligations are met and appropriate records are in place, ensuring all policies and procedures are aligned; And all risks are mitigated efficiently and effectively
•Align FM teams to ensure optimum FM delivery which is streamlined, consistent and sustainable across all sites
•Drive Operational excellence across the function and meet / exceed expectations on KPI / SLA performance and report as per portfolio to senior managementMaintain facilities team training ensuring all training is consistent and all team members are compliant, and competent in all roles and on all equipmentProvide accurate and informative monthly reporting on work order performance, H&S, business critical issues.
•Manage, monitor and report on the financial performance of the contract
- Daily co-ordination and measurement of vendors and sub - contractors across all key soft service lines including cleaning and reprographics
•Eight to Twelve years relevant work experience with 3 - 5 years supervisory experience in a mid to a large size Facilities organisation.
•Experienced in soft services within an Airport in the GCC.
•Experienced in managing a large workforce
•Should be familiar with standards of regulatory bodies as applicable to operational contracts
•Excellent communication skills in English and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.
