Responsibility:


o Analyse customer requirements in collaboration with clients, business analysts and software partners

o Design and implement solutions on a very high quality level using the Avaloq customization layer

o Analyse and resolve incidents and bugs reported by the projects

o Improve and optimize existing modules

o Automate testing of different use cases and functionalities and fix test failures

o Provide technical support for customer projects on the customer's specific code basis

o Depending on the project context, sporadic onsite assignments om Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney my be possible


Requirements:


o Bachelor and\or Masters in Software Engineering or similar IT field

o Additional education in Economics is an advantage

o Knowledge of software engineering principles

o Competent in one or more high-level programming languages

o Showing a grasp for relational databases

o Ability to develop high level software designs and solutions

o Banking know how ( optional)

o Prior project support experience is an advantage

o Excellent analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving

o Interest in gaining in-depth knowledge of banking

o Very good communication skills (proficient in English verbally and in writing)

o Perseverance in analysing complex situations and finding the optimal solution

o Quality-conscious attitude

o Self-motivated and goal-oriented

o Open-minded and a good team player

o Willingness to work and travel internationally
