We are looking for a Creative Senior Hair Stylist to join an existing team.
The salon is based in a vibrant Umm Suqeim area and provides a positive working environment for well-skilled Senior Hair Stylists.
We have a diverse team of stylists and therapists within the business and have a friendly, sociable and professional team vibe.
Responsibilities
- Prepares hair for styling by analyzing hair condition; shampooing and treating hair
- Conditions hair and scalp by applying proprietary treatments
- Plans desired effect by evaluating hair and studying facial features; examining potential styles; conferring with customer; making recommendations
- Produces desired effect by arranging, shaping, curling, cutting, trimming, setting, bleaching, dyeing, and tinting hair
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards
- Maintains safe and healthy conditions by following organization standards and legal regulations
- Be sales driven and commercially aware of the beauty/ fashion market and trends
- Side work including, but not limited to: dusting, cleaning, sweeping, inventory and re-stocking product shelves
- Can provide thorough client consultations and maintain client accurate records
- Have strong blow dry skills
- Braids and Updo
- Hair straightening & Hair Treatments
- Hair Extensions is a plus
Requirements:
- Confident with female hair-styling.
- Talented, fashionable, artistic, charismatic, creative and professional.
- Have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 Hairdressing (or equivalent).
- Have a minimum of 4 years studio experience.
- Are committed to delivering a 5* customer experience.
- Have extensive experience cutting, styling & colouring.
- Good customer service and rapport building skills to cater for a professional and artistic clients.
- Passionate about the hair industry and up to date about current trends and techniques.
- Willingness to continually improve ;
- Flexible work schedule
