Safe Environment are a small family run business, and as part of our expansion, we are now looking to recruit two trainee asbestos removal operatives who are looking to progress in a new career path.

The role will involve assisting on various examples of small/medium asbestos removal projects, from domestic to commercial and agricultural properties. You will only be carrying out N/NLW works and will entail traveling throughout the UK with some working away on a weekly basis.

The successful candidate will be paired with a Supervisor and will be mainly home based, supported by our Online Job App and office team, with office trips only required to replenish supplies and drop off waste and documentation so punctuality and time-keeping are essential skills.

Ideally you will hold the following:

- Full UK Driving license (less than 6 points)

- Asbestos awareness training/NLW training

- CSCS card (min. Labourer)

- Face fit test

- PASMA & IPAF 3a/3b

- Working at heights, Manual handling, Working safely, SMSTS etc

- Trade-related experience plastering, joinery etc.

We will provide you with:

- 32 days paid annual leave

- Overnight allowance

- Annual bonus.

You will be expected to work in the region of 50-60 hours per week (including travel) and work away from home most weeks (generally not more than 2-3 nights per week).
