Job details
Source out prospective vendors of vehicles based on the purchase requisition or for stock inventory maintenance through calls or email inquiries.
Coordinates with the vendors regarding vehicle procurement, prices and import / export regulations.
Maintain and update an active vendors directory (list of suppliers and their qualifications, Delivery times and potential future development).
Maintain and update the rates of the vehicles in the product specifications catalogue.
Plan the stock inventory maintenance of the vehicle by coordinating with the warehouse.
Transfers the request for vehicles purchase from social media messaging platform into purchase requisition document.
Transfers the calls and other relevant information for sourcing out vendors to the call matrix form.
Develop, leads and execute purchasing strategies
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve lead time of delivery of the goods.
Travel overseas as and when required to make purchases.
Manage full process and cycle of procurement of goods.
Prepare Purchase Orders / Local Purchase Orders upon receipt of Purchase Requisition from other departments.
Prepare purchase options with comparisons charts and take approvals of Director for the purchase.
Draft negotiation strategies and close deals on the optimal terms
Responsible to source vehicles, accessories, other goods, and
Manage vendors/ suppliers' partners and develop relationship with them.
Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
Search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.
Forecast price and market trends to identify opportunities of the demand-supply.
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking for right decisions.
Assess, manage and mitigate risks
Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing and other important data.
Create and maintain inventory of all incoming and current supplies
Estimate and establish, SOPs, policies, cost parameters and budgets for purchases department.
