Description
Responsibilities: Providing primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adults, and seniors. Conducting thorough medical histories and physical examinations to diagnose and treat health conditions. Developing and implementing treatment plans for acute and chronic illnesses, including prescribing medications and other treatments as necessary. Providing preventative care, including immunizations, health screenings, and health education. Managing chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. Providing counseling and support to patients and their families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records. Referring patients to specialists as needed. Education: Completion of a family medicine residency program. Board certification in family medicine. Requirements: Valid DOH license. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
