Waitress

We are looking for a Waitress to join one of our properties. Interested applicants should upload their updated CV with a recent photo. Responsibilities and Duties: Meets and exceeds customer and team member expectations by providing outstanding service & teamwork to ensure customer/guest satisfaction. Sets up chairs and tables in the restaurant before it opens for operation. Wipes tables and chairs and polishes china, glassware, and cutlery both on tables and service stations. Fills up service station, supplies the service station during service hours with necessary condiments, china, glassware, linen, and makes sure cutlery is always polished. Checks condiments and condiments stands. Knows all tables by numbers and seats to serve the correct drink and dish to each guest. Escorts customers to their tables. Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring about needs and observing the dining process. If the captain is occupied, takes food & drink orders from the guest and forwards these orders by always using a captain order and the Micros system. Serves food & drinks to the guest, applying the correct sequence of service and ensuring the guest gets all necessary condiments and accompaniments. Informs the assigned captain immediately of any irregularities or complaints. Clears tables of dirty and empty glasses and dishes, replenishes drinks, and changes ashtrays. Clears the service station regularly and keeps it clean and tidy. Farewells guests at departure whenever possible. Must have a good basic knowledge of all food & beverage items served according to the menu. Aware of the proper presentation of food & beverages served and advising the supervisor of incorrect orders. Fully trained about the menu and promotions, including approximate preparation times. Able to serve quickly and efficiently. Familiar with proper handling and maintenance of service equipment. Attends scheduled outlet briefings and regular training sessions. Checks with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and takes action to correct any problems. Explains how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods. Qualifications: Has at least 1-2 years of hospitality experience. Previous experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations. Passion for excellent service. Excellent team player.
