Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $78,000.00/yr Sourcing Nationality: India, Philippines, Nepal, Sri Lanka.Yearly Salary Range: AED 60000 to AED 78000 Job Purpose Handle Fixed Network Operation & Maintenance activities, including: Traffic management (Provision, Cessations, Re-routing) Network failures due to traffic & hardware Network planned outages and hazards Network hardware inventory & fixed assets management Network hardware repair & return process Key Responsibilities Perform provision, maintenance, and fault rectification tasks on assigned telecom network elements. Attend to routine and major fault repairs under supervision, using test equipment, and follow up on results. Support maintenance activities, including stores issue, spares, tools, and equipment management. Clear circuit faults reported by NOCs and escalate major faults to supervisors. Locate and clear Junction F.O Cable Network faults, including call-out duties. Localize and rectify faults using test equipment. Maintain SQI and perform routine maintenance. Update knowledge on related core & fixed networks equipment technologies. Assist in fixed asset verification and network expansion activities, including acceptance of new nodes and installation of ODFs and junction cables. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's/Diploma in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. At least 4 years of field operation and maintenance experience in Telecom networks (Transport, IP Switching, Mobile). Competencies Telecom engineering knowledge and familiarity with Etisalat network and infrastructure. Skills in tendering, technical evaluation, negotiation, reporting, and analysis. Knowledge of engineering manuals, standards, and procedures. Network planning, development, performance management, and workforce management skills. Contractor/supplier relationship management. Software development, upgrade, and deployment skills. Understanding of NOC procedures, standards, and guidelines.
