PLANNING ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities: Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software. Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports including earned value analysis (EVA) S-curve and productivity metrics. Develop and manage baseline schedules recovery plans and revised programs as required. Review contractor schedules and monitor their compliance with the baseline. Interface with project managers consultants and contractors to ensure coordination and alignment with project timelines. Identify schedule impacts due to variations delays or other changes and provide mitigation strategies. Assist in preparing delay analysis reports and extension of time (EOT) claims. Conduct risk analysis and recommend corrective actions to maintain project schedule. Participate in progress meetings and present planning updates to stakeholders. Key Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of total experience with at least 5 years in the UAE. Proven experience working with consultancy firms in the GCC on infrastructure building or mixed-use projects. Proficient in Primavera P6 MS Project and MS Office Suite. Strong understanding of project controls scheduling techniques and critical path method (CPM). Excellent communication analytical and interpersonal skills.
