Senior Services Officer-BBD(Outsource)
Description
Oversee ongoing due diligence reviews for all risk levels across Business Banking. Manage resources and planning for the ODD team aligned with core activities and utilization. Supervise daily and monthly performance of Supervisors, Checkers, and Makers. Develop and review KPIs for all team members regularly and as needed. Prepare mid-year and annual appraisals for the team. Oversee daily operations ensuring compliance with due diligence and AML regulations/SOPs. Report compliance issues and recommend management actions. Share accurate and timely progress reports with senior management and relevant departments. Coordinate follow-ups with Operations, Compliance, and other units for pending cases. Prepare critical reports for senior management upon request. Collaborate effectively with department managers and senior colleagues. Review and update SOPs, policies, SLAs, memos, and BRIYs to ensure compliance and recommend improvements. Implement action plans for compliance, fraud, and audit findings. Identify risks and establish controls for the ODD team. Coordinate with Quality & Control teams for RCSA, KRI, and control testing. Ensure completion of ODD for all customers, applying approved consequence management if necessary. Manage exit strategies for customer relationships based on analysis of revenue, commitments, facilities, and due diligence findings, and communicate recommendations to management. Share final customer exit lists with MIS for account details and status updates. Analyze MIS data to determine exit eligibility based on ongoing commitments and parameters per SOPs. Coordinate with BBD Product/Marketing Managers to dispatch exit letters. Review ODD completion status post-BAU period, ensuring all cases are appropriately closed or in process. Coordinate with the BBD Checker team for pending closures. Arrange payment orders to settle balances and facilitate account closures. Manage exemption processes for customers from ODD, including analysis and approval sharing with Group Compliance. Post-approval, coordinate with IT/MIS to block channels and cards as required. Ensure pop-up messages are implemented for exempted customers per approved memos. Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager. Required Skills / Technical Knowledge: Professional certification in Fraud, Compliance, or AML. Good knowledge of ADIB Business Banking products and services. Understanding of policies and procedures. Familiarity with banking practices, regulations, and risks. Knowledge of ongoing due diligence regulations and AML regulations issued by authorities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
