Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Lead and oversee the design of electrical systems including LV, MV, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and ELV systems. Prepare and review detailed electrical design drawings, specifications, and load calculations. Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines to integrate electrical systems. Ensure designs comply with DEWA, ADDC, Estidama, and relevant UAE authority regulations. Perform value engineering and propose innovative, cost-effective solutions. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and respond to RFIs during construction. Mentor and guide junior engineers and design staff. Attend client and consultant meetings, and support project management teams as needed. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design, preferably within the UAE or GCC. Proven experience with large-scale building and infrastructure projects. Proficiency in design software such as Auto CAD, Revit, Dialux, ETAP, and MS Office. Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (IEC, NEC, BS). Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills. UAE Society of Engineers membership and ADDC/ADDC approvals are advantageous.
