Design Manager

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Design Manager (Roads and Utilities) to join our award-winning team based in Dubai , UAE . This critical role will work as part of the Infrastructure team for large-scale infrastructure projects, focusing on a brownfield master-planned site with diverse challenges. We envisage success in this role to include: Managing, coordinating, and delivering technically demanding projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality. Managing a multi-disciplinary design team responsible for delivering projects in accordance with client requirements. Coordinating design activities across various disciplines within the infrastructure design team. Interfacing with the client and other design team members regarding the production of information in line with agreed deliverables. Understanding and managing changes to scope, budget, and programme. Identifying risks and opportunities and contributing to the project risk and opportunities register. Escalating any matters that could pose a potential contractual or commercial risk to KEO at the earliest opportunity. Familiarity with Dubai RTA, Dubai Municipality, and DEWA Standards. Qualifications To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and more than 10 years of experience in a similar position. Having a membership of a professional institution is desirable. Furthermore, you should demonstrate: Candidates from design consultancies focusing on municipality/national-scale infrastructure projects will be of great interest. Proven experience as an infrastructure Design Manager. Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
