Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Site Administration Manager for our client ADNOC in Abu Dhabi within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be client office based with a possibility of onshore site based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The key objectives for this role are: Assures the quality and integrity of each project, bringing projects in on schedule and within budget. Oversees total construction field effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, specifications, budgets and schedules. Generally responsible for projects or subset of project with value above USD 500 million. Responsibilities Responsible for construction and contractor related deliverables. Supervises all areas on small projects and / or a subset / discipline on larger projects. Responsible for management and execution of multiple field disciplines or a subset of assigned construction project(s). Responsible for execution of the work in accordance with the quality standards and requirements specified for the project. Manages and controls project cost and schedule of assigned disciplines / subset of on site construction. Management of installation, commissioning and completion activities of materials and equipment. Coordinates field personnel work schedules to maximise utilisation and ensure work is delivered on schedule. Ability to monitor work progress and report against the plan. Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities and accountabilities have been defined and communicated to workers. Ensure all workers receive appropriate training to perform their work in a safe, legal and competent manner. Initiate safety, quality and environmental processes within their area(s) of control. Manage and control project cost and schedule of assigned discipline / subset of on site construction. Coordinate supply and delivery of equipment, subcontractors, consumables, accommodation and other project-specific requirements. Understand and manage the industrial relations environment impacting the site. Works with engineering in the design phases to influence the design for optimum constructability. Expected: Degree with a minimum of 20 years Oil and Gas industry experience, including at least 5 years on major capital projects. Experience within an Oil and Gas operating company is also highly desired. Must have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, with a strong command of the English language. Must be willing to travel extensively for multi-week periods. Must be qualified to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa.
