We are seeking a Critical Environment Engineer – ELV Systems to join our team. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Medium Voltage and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems within critical data center environments. The engineer will work closely with the operations team to ensure the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of the electrical systems that support 24/7 operations. Key Accountabilities: Oversee preventative maintenance on-site ELV infrastructure is run (e.g., maintenance of primary infrastructures), or handled by vendors under permissible work system. Plan and coordinate FM resources to complete projects and maintenance within the data center. Maintain and optimize ELV systems to meet the specific needs of critical environments, ensuring reliability and energy efficiency. Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of ELV equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with facility management and engineering teams to assess ELV requirements and implement effective solutions. Monitor ELV assets performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions as needed. Provide technical support and training to facility staff on ELV systems operations and best practices. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to ELV systems in critical environments. Required to carry out timely repairs and corrective maintenance on equipment to avoid any risk and ensure management of overall site capacity. Identify potential areas for accidents resulting in injury within Operations (hazards), decide the probability of someone getting injured and how fatal it can be (the risk) and take action to eliminate the hazard. Oversees contractor work and FM operations to ensure completion to Khazna's required standards, (KPI's) Key Performance Indicators and (SLA's) Service Level Agreements Manage customer requirements such as inquiries, deployment, expansion, tours, etc. and prioritize customer’s emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and make every effort to provide a long-term resolution. Resolve concerns, incidents and issues raised by customer(s), monitor investigation and recommend corrective actions as necessary and ensure service continuity is provided in a professional and safe manner. Communicates and coordinates activities with on-site staff during an incident and support for a root cause analysis and resolves the incident. Also, where possible based on the outcome of the root cause analysis puts in place preventive action plan. Ensures accurate processes are followed and all documentation is complete. Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction. Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet ABC and department requirements, policies, and quality standards Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. The job holder may be required to undertake additional duties, which may be reasonably expected and forms part of the function of the job. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in ELV systems design and maintenance, preferably in critical environments. Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, energy management, and relevant codes/standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA). Proficiency in ELV Network & Logics design software and building management systems (BMS). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Job-Specific Skills (Generic / Technical): Fluency in English (read, write, speaks) with strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards. Ability to evaluate objectively, fairly, and consistently and work in a high-pressure environment, meet deadlines and simultaneously develop, deploy and coordinate multiple projects. Ability to understand and follow directions, self-driven, work independently with minimal supervision, must be inspirational, enjoy motivating others and able to manage multiple tasks. Analytical, problem solver, logical thinker with attention to detail. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or presentation form. Ability to deal and resolve problems involving several entities, people or variables. Must be able to work in a team environment and demonstrate capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment.
