Serve as the primary contact between patients and healthcare providers for communication. Facilitate patient education regarding treatment options, prescriptions, and medical advice. Assist healthcare providers in managing schedules and optimizing patient flow efficiently. Address patient concerns and queries regarding their healthcare experiences and requirements. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all coordinating activities. Coordinate with insurance companies and billing departments for claims processing tasks. Monitoring patient progress and communicating updates to families and healthcare providers. Organize and participate in meetings related to patient care plans and improvements. Handle administrative tasks related to scheduling, communication, and documentation processes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare setting or in patient care coordination roles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective coordination. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with regulations. Proficiency in using healthcare management software and electronic medical records systems. Compassionate attitude and a patient-focused approach to care coordination roles. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a diverse healthcare team.
