We are recruiting for a Public Relations Officer - Government and Public Relations to join our Legal team at our headquarters in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Freezone. Scope: This role involves facilitating communication within Transguard and with government entities, ensuring regulatory compliance, obtaining licenses and permits, managing visas and bureaucratic processes, and fostering positive relationships with government officials to support Transguard’s interests. Responsibilities include: Forecast activities related to government fees, taxes, and financial obligations Identify cost-saving opportunities by reviewing and negotiating government costs Ensure timely processing of licenses, expenses, and payments to avoid fines Customer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with government offices, consulates, embassies, police, and immigration officials Manage internal stakeholder communication to ensure swift task completion Processes: Optimize processes for efficiency and timely task completion Manage visa applications, permits, and trade licenses Ensure accuracy of applications to prevent delays or penalties Assist with residency permits, labor contracts, and resolve renewal disputes Handle police cases involving Transguard and employees Identify processes that can be moved online to save time and money Stay updated on customs and regulations for compliance Selection Criteria: Minimum 3 years experience in the UAE as a Public Relations Officer Knowledge of GPSSA and Emiratization requirements Proficiency in MS Office Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written Excellent communication and interpersonal skills UAE Driver’s License Additional Details: Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Legal and Public Relations Industry: Outsourcing and Offshoring Consulting Referrals can double your chances of interview success at Transguard Group.
