SENIOR CAD DRAFTER

Atkins Ralis are looking for a Senior CAD Drafter for a large low rise residential project in Abu Dhabi UAE. Prior experience in UAE (preferably Abu Dhabi) is mandatory. News and information are available at or follow us on Linked In.Learn more about our career opportunities at: Responsibilities: Create detailed CAD drawings for low-rise building projects including architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) designs. Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop and refine design concepts. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of all drawings and revisions. Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications. Provide technical support and guidance to junior drafters and other team members. Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions. Key skills: Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and other CAD software. Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. 15 years of experience in CAD drafting with a focus on low-rise residential buildings. Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software is preferred. Knowledge of sustainable design practices. Certification in CAD drafting or related field is a plus.
