Join to apply for the Public Relations Specialist role at dnata Job Purpose The Public Relations Specialist will plan, monitor, and assist the Public Relations Managers to enhance Emirates' share of voice in the media and PR field. Gain positive publicity for the Emirates Group and manage relations with the larger community. Support Emirates Group's brands, regions, campaigns, sponsorships, and events as deemed necessary by the PR Manager. In This Role You Will Implement approved PR plans and monitor timelines and deliverables for designated brands and regions to ensure timely delivery of projects. Research and write creative and engaging press releases, articles, and other copy for publications in line with communications objectives and with a view to enhancing the company's positive image and share of voice. Seek internal approvals, both from Corporate Communications and the business units, before dissemination. Create briefs with a view to capturing inspiring and media-savvy photography and videos and escort such assignments that support PR releases and copy. Prepare and coordinate itineraries of visiting journalists, and escort the media for scheduled company site visits to present Emirates and Dubai effectively and maximize media coverage. Brief senior executives and escort interviews with print and broadcast media to ensure key messages and accurate information are communicated, minimizing miscommunication. Build strong media relations to support PR for regions/brands. Respond to media queries with carefully researched and approved information, maintaining consistency within set guidelines. Generate reports on PR initiatives, providing ROI and measuring effectiveness using established guidelines. Liaise with external suppliers including PR agencies and internal teams to maximize PR opportunities and support crisis communication plans. Utilize management information systems to manage and track projects effectively. Research and disseminate information about new developments and achievements within the organization to inform PR planning and strategies. Qualifications Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent). 5+ years experience in Marketing & Media Communications/Advertising. Experience in a PR agency as a communications specialist or journalist. Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous. Ability to handle multiple projects independently. Good interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office.
