We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Assistant Construction Manager Dubai Main Office Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Construction Managerto join our team! In this role you will get tosupport the Construction Director with on-site field construction management activities associated with the completion of assigned construction package(s) What You'll Be Doing Directly reporting to PMC Construction Director Collaborate in maintaining a strong client relationship as a primary contact. Collaborate in reporting project progress meeting with the client. Assist in reviewing cost and risk analyses and extra work claims for the client Supports to ensure compliance with Company HSEQ policies and procedures Monitoring the manpower deployment schedule of each construction projects Collaborate in leading construction management efforts and play a pivotal role in project delivery. Assist in directing and meticulously assessing the overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities. Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient office and field procedures. Collaborate in possessing knowledge of pertinent contract documents specific to the project. Apply technical knowledge to support comprehensive constructability analysis and review construction documents. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of related work experience providing construction and project management services Proven ability to effectively assist in managing teams and communicating with clients. Supervisory experience in large civil/structural and/or infrastructure projects (roads, highways,bridges,airport) construction in the Middle East is preferred. Good written and oral communications skills both in English and Arabic, What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required. Knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.
