The hotel offers a collection of exquisite destination dining and wellness experiences.About the Job: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join the Engineering team Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: Manage the programming and administration of BMS (Building Management System) in accordance with operational needs, ensuring accurate control of temperature, lighting, and other facility systems. Plan and coordinate the reprogramming and upgrading of BMS systems by installing new hardware and software to enhance operational efficiency and enable energy savings. Oversee the scheduling and effective execution of preventive maintenance for HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing systems by utilizing the BMS and coordinating with all relevant departments. Ensure the proper maintenance of BMS systems to uphold their functionality and compliance with operating standards. Monitor and analyze data and values reported by the BMS, identifying areas for improvement and recommending programming changes to enhance the quality and cost-efficiency of operations. Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures and controls within your area of responsibility, supporting Jumeirah Group’s commitment to world-class, luxurious hospitality standards. About you: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Five years of relevant exposure in the hospitality sector Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any other relevant field. Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Advanced) Experience of working in an international capacity and a clear understanding of cultural differences showcasing trust and respect for everyone Exposure to working with a multi-cultural team About the Benefits: We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
