Specification Engineer

The Specification Engineer is responsible for generating new business by taking up qualified construction leads and assisting in the preparation of proposals specifying the organization’s products and solutions. The role fosters long-term relationships with consultants, architects, and main contractors, leading to increased market penetration and company growth. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities: Build the company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees, enforcing ethical business practices. Search for new customers who might profit from the company’s products and solutions, exploring qualified construction leads from the generation system (ventures onsite), demonstrating products and solutions, and persuading consultants, architects, and main contractors of their benefits. Develop long-term relationships and specify the company’s products in proposals to support business development objectives. Support pre-sale and post-sale activities by demonstrating proper installation procedures, ensuring engineering standards are followed, providing product training, and supporting technical needs. Share technical knowledge with the Sales team and prepare technical and marketing collateral such as manuals, installation guides, presentations, and data sheets for business development and marketing teams.
