Senior Manager - DLT and Blockchain
Description
1. Daily Oversight and Operational Management: • Assist the Director in the daily management of DLT and Blockchain entities, including DLT Foundations. • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring effective monitoring and compliance of DLT and Blockchain entities, including DLT Foundations. • Serve as the acting Director in their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of operations and decision-making. 2. Risk and Compliance Management: • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential risks related to DLT and Blockchain. • Perform regular compliance checks and audits to ensure adherence to ADGM regulations. • Ensure compliance with ADGM regulations for DLT and Blockchain entities, including developing and updating regulatory frameworks and conducting compliance checks. 3. Monitoring and Evaluation: • Implement proactive, risk-based monitoring of DLT Foundation licensees and Blockchain entities. • Monitor blockchain activities for compliance and risk management using advanced analytics tools. • Review business plans of Blockchain entities to ensure compliance and feasibility. • Assist in the evaluation and registration process of DLT Foundations. • Prepare detailed reports and high-quality presentations for senior management and external stakeholders using tools like Power Point and Excel. 4. Regulatory Guidance and Development: • Provide regulatory guidance to the team and stakeholders, ensuring understanding and adherence to ADGM’s regulations. • Assist in drafting regulatory guidance and frameworks for DLT and Blockchain. • Develop capabilities to oversee DLT and Blockchain entities including DLT Foundations and create regulatory guidance for new technology companies such as AI firms. 5. Project and Resource Management: • Drive and manage multiple internal and external projects, ensuring alignment with ADGM’s strategic goals. • Coordinate and align initiatives and projects across ADGM and with external stakeholders. • Assist in the preparation and management of the division’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. 6. Team Leadership and Development: • Provide training and mentoring to junior staff members, ensuring the development of necessary skills and knowledge within the team. • Monitor and report on the performance of the DLT and Blockchain Division, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, technology partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success and strategic alignment.
