The "Senior Associate Logistics " role for EDGE GROUP will be managing and coordinating various aspects of the supply chain, including inventory management, transportation, and warehouse operations. Senior associates also be involved in developing and implementing logistics strategies and processes. The Senior Logistics Associate will provide a range of specialized support functions and/or lead a team performing standard logistics/supply chain processes and activities to enable effective delivery of goods and services for all delivery modalities.Supply Chain Optimization: Enhancing logistics processes, ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods, and maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards In-Country Logistics: Providing logistics input to supply plans, including advising on infrastructure constraints, delivery mechanisms, and budget requirements Pipeline Monitoring: Liaising with supply colleagues and clients to ensure pipeline monitoring and establishment of appropriate logistics capacity Customs Clearance: Monitoring the progress of offshore or regional procurement and taking action to ensure timely customs clearance Data Analysis and Reporting: Performing research, collecting data, conducting analysis, and producing reports to enable informed decision-making Coordination and Communication: Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods and addressing issues Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws Team Support: Providing support in fleet management tasks and potentially managing a team of staff Emergency Preparedness: Participating in logistics emergency preparedness and response activities The "Senior Associate Logistics " role for EDGE GROUP will be managing and coordinating various aspects of the supply chain, including inventory management, transportation, and warehouse operations. Coordinate requisitioning and ensure timely delivery of commodities and supplies to authorized partners and destinations. Manage logistics vendors contracting activities including performance monitoring and measurement, supported by analysis and recommendations. Gather market intelligence, coordinate vendor assessments (e.g. transporters, retailers) and produce relevant reports to support vendor selection process. Manage complex operational issues and provide solutions or recommendations related to all assistance modalities, using initiative and following processes, to ensure the provision of timely resolutions with excellent client service mind-set. Prepare, monitor and revise budget for all delivery modalities, ensuring adherence to relevant procedures and in compliance with corporate standards. Monitor inventory management processes to track trends and account for the inventory status from source to beneficiary. Support oversight for commodity accounting data quality and integrity. Provide comprehensive analyses of operational pipeline and contribute to assessments and operational planning for all delivery modalities, to ensure that supply chain requirements are taken into consideration. Manage and coordinate a full range of documentation processing for execution of logistics operations (e.g. customs clearance, invoice verification), take appropriate actions to address issues and recommend improvements in processes. Perform research, collect data and conduct analysis to produce comprehensive reports (e.g. CCTI, SPRs, financial closure, physical inventory, transport performance) providing insight and recommendations that enable informed decision-making. Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support logistics operations management and strengthen partnerships on EDGE GROUP supply chain. Manage a team(s) of staff providing technical advice, coaching, guidance and training, to ensure individual and team objectives are delivered to agreed standards and deadlines for all assistance modalities. Participate in logistics emergency preparedness and response activities including Logistics Capacity Assessment and Contingency Plan update, to support EDGE GROUP s response in emergencies. Experience Seven or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative business stream. Experience coordinating with transportation providers and third parties, leading a team of national and/or international staff, assisting in project management, & preparing and managing budgets. Education Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area will be preferred.
