This individual is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and optimization of facilities, equipment, and technology systems to support the organization's operations and objectives. The Infrastructure Maintenance Manager works closely with other departments to address facility needs, prevent operational disruptions, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This role demands excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of maintenance management, and the ability to implement strategic plans to enhance infrastructure reliability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in facilities management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage a team of maintenance professionals while coordinating with external service providers when necessary. Responsibilities Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal functionality of infrastructure. Oversee the daily operations of maintenance staff and external service providers. Coordinate and schedule regular inspections and preventative maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards at all times. Evaluate and approve maintenance contracts and agreements with third-party vendors. Manage the budget for maintenance activities and ensure cost-efficiency in operations. Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for infrastructure-related challenges. Evaluate performance metrics and report on maintenance activities and outcomes. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure reliability and safety. Maintain documentation and records of maintenance activities and infrastructure specifications. Ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests and infrastructure issues. Provide training and mentorship to maintenance team members to improve skills. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field required. Minimum of five years of experience in infrastructure maintenance management. Exceptional leadership and organizational skills are essential for this role. Proven track record of implementing maintenance strategies and solutions successfully. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with safety regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards. Ability to manage budgets and optimize maintenance costs effectively. Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. Proficiency in maintenance management software and technologies is preferred.
