Change Management Engineer

1 month ago Be among the first 25 applicants Direct message the job poster from PGESCO The Change Management Engineer will be responsible for managing the contractual change process, including variations, claims, and extensions of time, ensuring all changes are processed in accordance with contract requirements and company procedures. Key Responsibilities Identify, analyze, and document potential contract changes Evaluate the technical, commercial, and schedule impacts of proposed changes with the project teams. Prepare change order documentation and cost estimates Process variations according to contract procedures Support negotiations with contractors regarding changes Maintain a comprehensive change management log and documentation system Coordinate with project teams to implement approved changes Analyze and respond to contractor claims and time extension requests Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum seven (7) years of experience in change management for large-scale construction projects Comprehensive knowledge of FIDIC contract standards and change procedures is advantage Strong analytical and quantitative skills Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution abilities Excellent documentation and reporting skills Fluency in written and spoken English Additional Skills Knowledge of construction scheduling techniques Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Adaptability to fulfill Contract Administrator or Invoicing Engineer roles when required Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills Ability to work in a multinational environment Competence in Microsoft Office suite and relevant specialized software Willingness to travel as required for project needs Commitment to professional development and keeping current with industry standards Working under the direction of and reporting directly to the Site Contracts Manager Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Engineering and Other Industries Electric Power Generation Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at PGESCO by 2x Get notified about new Management Engineer jobs in Dubai, United Arab Emirates .
