Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of workmanship and adherence to safety protocols. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports, progress tracking, and incident logs. Implement and monitor safety management systems to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with project managers and architects to address any design discrepancies and propose effective solutions. Manage on-site personnel, providing guidance and training to ensure all team members meet project standards. Assist in budget management by tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and regulatory authorities. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to integrate innovative practices into projects. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a focus on steel construction preferred. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in steel construction projects, demonstrating progression in responsibility. Experience in managing large-scale projects, particularly in industrial or commercial sectors, is essential. Strong command of English, with proficiency in additional languages considered an asset for international projects. Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including conflict resolution and team motivation skills. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions are essential for on-site responsibilities.
