Purchase Assistant (Automotive)
Description
Job Description Follow and implement standard purchase policies and procedures provided by management. Prepare and process purchase orders and documents for parts/items purchased from agencies in accordance with company policies. Prepare and get approval for comparative price analyses for new items/parts purchased outside of agencies. Monitor supplier/vendor performance based on pre-designed KPIs and report to management. Handle and monitor claims to vendors for defective, shortage, or missing parts. Coordinate deliveries from suppliers to ensure timely delivery to site or storage. Source, select, and negotiate the best purchase packages considering quality, price, terms, delivery, and services. Assist management in the selection and implementation of vendor selection procedures. Prepare periodic MIS reports for the purchase department following policies and procedures. Ensure all purchases for AWW are routed through Al Qouz Office only. Ensure all fixed asset purchases are initiated after proper approval of requisitions. Supervise the purchase of used/second-hand parts by Cash and ensure pricing aligns with previous similar purchases. Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor, Accounts, or Senior Service Manager. Desired Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in automotive purchasing and be familiar with supply management specifics to effectively perform purchasing tasks.
