Contracts Specialist

Wood is currently hiring PMC Contracts Specialist to be based in Abu Dhabi office. RESPONSIBILITIES Promote and demonstrate safety leadership behaviors Always act ethically and with the utmost integrity Champion and follow the relevant DOA and commercial / contracting policies Manage, support, and deliver, under limited supervision Client contracts (bespoke and standard forms) including project-specific contracts and MSA’s Review proposed contract qualifications with other functions, as required, to ensure the balance of risk is appropriate for the associated services and remuneration mode Providing overviews of contract T&Cs and associated issues to senior management and execution teams, as applicable Provide guidance to the assigned business(es) on client contracting and negotiation strategies and terms and conditions Engagement with other functions to identify strategies to avoid/mitigate risks associated with contract terms and Contracting Policy deviations QUALIFICATIONS 15+ years in oil and Gas industry Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position for international Oil & Gas projects Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a pre-requisite for the role ABOUT US Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
