Asst Manager - Process & Compliance
Retail Corporate Office Al-Futtaim's Retail Division manages a portfolio of world-class brands operating in dynamic markets with significant growth potential. Our brands include Marks & Spencer, Toys R Us, IKEA, and Robinsons, along with smaller brands tailored to our markets. We operate retail outlets across the Middle East and Southeast Asia. We have achieved remarkable success in the UAE, Egypt, and GCC countries. As we approach the final planning stages for substantial growth, we are preparing for the next phase of expansion. Job Purpose Assist in formalizing and implementing operational and financial controls across all geographies to mitigate risks, safeguard assets, and enhance operational efficiency. Manage non-merchandise sourcing projects through spend management processes, including ARIBA E-sourcing tools. Key Accountabilities Support cross-functional projects within the Retail Division. Review and implement standardized compliance systems. Analyze store operations and workflows to identify opportunities and develop action plans. Implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency. Train stakeholders on processes and procedures. Review performance metrics related to Store Operations and Inventory Control. Monitor and evaluate the benefits of process improvements. Assist in project-based engagements and due diligence for new acquisitions. Manage spend management projects, including sourcing planning and execution. Execute strategic sourcing plans and analyze sourcing opportunities. Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge Postgraduate degree or professional qualification in Finance (CA/CPA/CIA) or an MBA in Finance/Operations Management. Minimum Experience At least 5 years of managerial retail experience. Job-Specific Skills Proficiency in SAP ERP system and business process mapping software.
