The Position Under the guidance of the Talent & Culture Manager/DHR, lead recruitment activities for Sofitel Abu Dhabi and ensure adherence to best practices at all times. KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the recruitment process: sourcing resumes, conducting interviews, issuing contracts, communicating with applicants, updating applicant status with departments, and documenting procedures. Ensure onboarding is completed for all new hires, including visa application, residence visa, ID cards, and bank accounts. Initiate processes for Medical, Emirate ID, and residence visa applications. Keep all job descriptions, organizational charts, and forms up to date and properly stored. Maintain accurate employee files with all necessary documentation (electronic & physical copies). Ensure all new hires sign the Code of Ethics and Human Rights Policy in line with Accor policies. Utilize various recruitment tools such as Linked In, external platforms, and recruitment agencies; responsible for annual renewal of contracts. Coordinate with the Accommodation Manager for room allocations and pick-up arrangements for international arrivals. Conduct T&C induction sessions for new employees. Conduct interviews and reference checks for Level 1-4 positions. Send weekly updates on new arrivals to the department. Maintain and update the recruitment notice board and vacancy information. Conduct INES recruitment training for all managers. Assist colleagues with daily queries and support. Organize and participate in monthly engagement activities, supporting the T&C Coordinator in planning and execution. Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Talent & Culture Manager or Director of Talent & Culture. Occasional Responsibilities Assist with creative poster campaigns and organize events by the T&C Department. Support in organizing monthly team engagement activities. General Responsibilities Promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy, and high social skills. Foster good inter-departmental relations. Maintain a pleasant manner and positive attitude, representing the hotel professionally. Show pride in personal appearance and workplace, demonstrating high commitment. Adhere to Sofitel Abu Dhabi rules and regulations at all times. Qualifications Previous HR experience in a 5-star hotel is desirable. Post-secondary education. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Strong communication skills at all levels. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. Proficiency in multitasking.
