Amazon Middle East and North Africa FZ-LLC Interested in working on an innovative and high-impact business that is changing the way customers think about grocery? The MENA Grocery team (UFG) is offering a role to own building new business from ground Zero. The Vendor Operations team at Amazon is dedicated to guiding and supporting vendors to ensure a seamless experience when interacting with Amazon’s systems. Your primary responsibility will be to assist vendors in optimizing their operations on the Amazon platform. You will help them become proficient in using Amazon tools and provide hands-on support for tasks such as purchase order (PO) management, shipment coordination, and more. You will work closely with vendors to help them procure catalog content, resolve operational issues, and improve their performance. Your tasks will include conducting face-to-face interactions with vendors, manufacturers, and customers, identifying and correcting errors, and maintaining accurate records. You will also drive process improvement initiatives and participate in stakeholder meetings. Your role is critical in improving operational performance metrics, managing inventory levels, and enhancing vendor performance. Collaboration with internal teams like in-stock managers, vendor managers, program managers, and fulfillment partners will be essential. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and execution skills to handle daily operations and drive continuous process improvements and automation. An ideal candidate should possess: Passion for business development and operational excellence. Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on building collaborative relationships. Attention to detail and high accuracy in data handling and reporting. Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements. Willingness to take initiative, handle additional responsibilities, and travel as needed. Ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate clearly with stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Assisting vendors in mastering Amazon tools and providing ongoing operational support (e.g., PO management, shipment tracking). Training vendors on catalog content and procurement processes. Interacting directly with vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance performance. Driving process improvements and participating in stakeholder meetings. Collaborating with internal teams to optimize vendor performance and operational metrics. Owning operational challenges, analyzing data, and implementing corrective actions. Sourcing store-level pricing and promotions from vendors and executing using internal tools. The role may require work on weekends but not exceeding 5 days a week. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with procurement processes such as POs, lead times, and vendor coordination is desirable. Additional advantage: Basic knowledge of SQL queries.
