General Purpose The Assistant Director of Cage Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of cage operations across multiple locations. This includes managing operational efficiencies, daily and ongoing cash requirements, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and the integration of innovative technologies. The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of demanding regulatory environments and a passionate focus on unparalleled customer service.Preopening Responsibilities Collaborate with the Executive Director to formulate standard cage processes aligned with Wynn’s global vision and values, while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations and cultural sensitivities Evaluate and recommend equipment and systems suitable for cage operations, considering effectiveness, value, and service support Explore and assess innovative technologies and alternative payment systems that enhance operational efficiency without compromising compliance and accountability Develop practical, easy-to-follow policies and SOPs that are culturally and operationally appropriate for international teams Demonstrate strong writing skills to produce clear documentation. Manage time effectively to meet critical deadlines aligned with broader organizational timelines Negotiate with global service providers, contractors, internal departments, and regulators to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes Exhibit leadership that is both authoritative and empathetic, fostering respect and approachability Take a hands-on approach during the setup phase, working alongside supervisors and cashiers to lead by example Post-Opening Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day cage operations across the properties Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity while minimizing risk exposure Coordinate with table games and marketing departments to enhance customer experience and team member engagement Ensure adequate supply and maintenance of chips and operational equipment Plan and manage staffing levels to meet evolving business demands.
