Direct message the job poster from Emirates Islamic The primary objective of resource is to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial banking clients by offering tailored lending and financial solutions. The Senior Relationship Manager is responsible for originating new business, deepening existing relationships, and ensuring portfolio profitability while effectively managing risks and maintaining compliance with regulatory and credit policies. Job Responsibility: Originate, structure, and manage bilateral lending deals to clients. Serve as the key point of contact for clients for all lending and banking needs. Analyze clients’ financial statements, credit profiles, and funding requirements to recommend suitable credit facilities. Drive cross-sell opportunities across transaction banking, trade finance, treasury, and investment products. Monitor and manage the credit quality of the portfolio, including timely reviews, renewals, and proactive early warning indicators. Ensure compliance with internal risk frameworks, credit policies, and regulatory guidelines. Maintain high standards of client service and relationship management. Job Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field Master’s degree (MBA) or relevant post-graduate qualification is often preferred. 3 to 5+ years of experience in commercial banking, with at least 2 years in a relationship management role. Proven experience in originating and managing commercial lending transactions (e.g., working capital, term loans, project finance). Strong understanding of credit risk, financial analysis, loan structuring, and documentation. Experience handling commercial / mid-market corporate clients in diversified sectors. Exposure to regulatory compliance, and internal risk frameworks. Knowledge of Local Market Dynamics In-depth understanding of the UAE business environment, regulatory frameworks (e.g., UAE Central Bank), and local corporate client landscape. Ability to build relationships with local groups and family businesses. Familiarity with UAE-specific economic sectors (e.g., oil & gas, real estate, logistics, healthcare, construction).
