QA/QC Engineer
Description
The QA/QC Engineer ensures that all materials, processes, and documentation comply with contract requirements and project quality standards through meticulous oversight and coordination across teams. This role involves coordinating inspections, managing quality records, and overseeing testing activities to ensure materials and processes meet project specifications. Responsibilities Follow up with the procurement department for sample and material submissions and obtain the required project approvals. Coordinate with the Document Controller (DC) officer to ensure client approvals are submitted for the project. Ensure the completion and accuracy of all quality-related documentation. Inspect material samples on-site to verify compliance with client requirements. Ensure that on-site samples align with client expectations and project specifications. Prepare weekly quality status reports for project stakeholders. Review daily technical and quality reports and manage related correspondence. Prepare material submittals, method statements, operations and maintenance documentation, and close NCRs and SORs. Follow up with suppliers and subcontractors for their material submittals and all related technical documents required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA/QC roles within construction or engineering projects. Proficiency in quality management systems, inspection protocols, and relevant standards. Strong knowledge of material testing and non-conformance reporting procedures.
