Prepare detailed interior design plans, including layouts and material specifications. Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure timely and within-cost delivery. Source and procure appropriate materials, furnishings, and fixtures for projects. Inspect completed installations to ensure they match design specifications and quality standards. Maintain communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns during the project. Organize and lead design meetings between team members and stakeholders. Prepare final project documentation and coordinate the completion of any necessary paperwork. Stay updated with the latest design trends and industry standards to enhance projects. Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field required. Proven experience in a design coordination role within the interior design industry. Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and attention to detail in design work. Excellent organizational and project management skills with a multitasking ability. Proficiency in design software such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, or similar tools. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability principles is advantageous.
