Pediatric Trauma PIPS Coordinator - Operations Management Qualifications: Bachelor of Business Administration (Management) Any Nationality 2 years of pediatric trauma care experience or general pediatric nursing Current national professional license or equivalent Certified proof of yearly CME Responsibilities: Performance Improvement: Participate in Quality Management and Performance Improvement activities, identify issues and trends, assist with chart reviews and data collection, and support case presentations. Collaboration: Work with the Trauma Medical Director, Trauma Program Manager, and other departments to investigate and resolve issues related to trauma care delivery. Monitoring & Reporting: Review and report data from the trauma registry and relevant reports. Policy Development: Assist in developing and revising administrative policies and clinical guidelines in collaboration with relevant disciplines. Meetings & Conferences: Attend departmental meetings, conferences, and workshops to enhance knowledge and represent the organization. Program Development: Develop and maintain the trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety program, serve as a technical expert, and provide guidance and feedback to staff. Service Delivery & Communication: Participate in case reviews, design practice guidelines, and ensure effective communication internally and externally. Administrative & Resource Management: Participate in hospital processes, focus on program goals, and work with other managers to design trauma registry systems. Strategic Planning & Research: Collaborate on strategic planning and research opportunities related to trauma. Additional Duties: Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with health standards. Desired Qualifications: Trauma Outcomes Performance Improvement Course (or willing to complete within 6 months) Trauma Program Manager Course (optional) Recognized Registrar Certification (CAIS or CSTR) (optional) Injury Scaling Certification (AIS15) (optional) ICD Coding Certification (optional) Quality Management Certification (optional) TNCC or ATCN Certification (optional) BLS, ACLS & PALS/ENPC Certifications Note: All duties must be performed in accordance with SSMC health performance standards.
