Video Editor

We are seeking a talented and creative Remote Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling through video, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for editing video content for various platforms, including social media and marketing campaigns. Key Responsibilities : Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with project objectives. Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand video requirements and creative direction. Apply creative video effects, transitions, animations, and graphics. Enhance audio quality, synchronize sound, and add appropriate music and sound effects. Color correct and grade footage to ensure visual consistency. Optimize videos for different platforms and formats (e.g., You Tube, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok). Manage and organize video files, ensuring easy retrieval and workflow efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and tools for video editing. Requirements : Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Proficiency in video editing software such as Final Cut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects (this is a must-have). Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus. Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and file management. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with remote teams. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and storytelling ability. Experience in sound design and color grading is a plus. Preferred Qualifications : 2+ years of video editing experience. A degree or certification in Film, Media Production, or a related field (preferred but not required).
