Assistant Vice President - Environmental MGT and Circularity Job Purpose Develop and implement environmental management and circularity strategies across the Group, monitor their implementation, assess business decisions for environmental sustainability, and identify opportunities for improving Aldar’s performance in these areas. This role is for the UAE National . Roles And Responsibilities Environment Management & Circular Economy Support the development of the environmental management and circularity strategy aligned with Aldar’s NZAP. Support the development and implementation of energy management projects to reduce energy consumption across all divisions, including Aldar Development, Investment, Projects, Academies, Hospitality, Logistics, and Estates. Assist in expanding renewable energy projects to lower GHG emissions across facilities and construction sites. Develop and implement sustainable waste management strategies to divert waste from landfills and promote circular economy practices. Project Management Coordinate with Aldar EPMO as the primary contact for environmental projects. Develop detailed project plans to track progress and manage risks. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Use verification techniques to manage project scope, schedule, and costs. Monitor project performance and maintain comprehensive documentation. Data Management Review and approve sustainability data from various Aldar divisions to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Key Result Areas Environmental management, resource efficiency, waste management, circular economy, biodiversity. Experience & Sector Minimum of 8+ years in environmental and project management within sectors like real estate, retail, hospitality, or construction. Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of environmental standards, policies, and regulations. Experience in innovation management and entrepreneurship. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis. Strong leadership and analytical skills. Bachelor’s in Engineering (Energy/Environmental Sciences). Master’s in Engineering Management or Business Administration.
