Leveraging advanced technologies, ADASI aims to be a world leader in autonomous capabilities. We are seeking a skilled Composite Paint Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for surface preparation, painting, and finishing of composite components to high standards. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of paint application techniques, and understanding of composite materials and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Prepare composite surfaces by sanding, cleaning, masking, and applying primers and sealers. Mix and apply paint coatings using spray equipment (HVLP, electrostatic, or airless). Ensure proper adhesion and curing of coatings per specifications. Inspect finished surfaces for quality; correct paint defects. Maintain and calibrate painting equipment; keep workspace clean. Read and interpret work orders, paint data sheets, and drawings. Record paint types, lot numbers, and job documentation accurately. Follow safety protocols, including PPE use and hazardous materials handling. Collaborate with engineers, production, and quality teams. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred. 2+ years in a composite paint or related role. Knowledge of composite materials like carbon fiber, fiberglass, resin systems. Experience in aerospace, automotive, or marine industries. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and quality control skills. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a spray booth environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with aerospace coatings (MIL-SPEC, NADCAP). Certification in paint application or composite repair. Knowledge of environmental and OSHA regulations.
