Job Title: L1 Support (Helpdesk) - Abu Dhabi, UAE We have an urgent requirement for an L1 Support (Helpdesk) professional for our client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Key Skills and Experience Strong experience in troubleshooting and resolving hardware faults (HP, Dell, Lenovo, etc.). Proficient in troubleshooting network printers (Ricoh, HP, Xerox, Kyocera, Samsung). Experience in configuring and troubleshooting email accounts. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 1 technical support to end users, resolving incidents and service requests via ITSM system, following ITIL v3 standards. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues in laptops and desktops, upgrade memory and hard disks, especially for business models from HP, Dell, and Lenovo. Set up and troubleshoot local and multifunction network printers, including Ricoh, HP, Xerox, Kyocera, and Samsung. Troubleshoot software application issues on user computers, including Windows 7/8/10, Office 2013/2016, Outlook 2013/2016, Adobe, and Trend Micro Worry Free Business Security. Configure and troubleshoot email accounts and email archiving via Symantec Enterprise Vault. Install and troubleshoot PKI certificates on employee email accounts. Install, configure, and troubleshoot business applications on end-user devices, including workstations and smartphones, and provide user training. Configure anti-virus software (primarily Trend Micro) on end-user workstations and clean infected devices. Prepare, install, and configure standard Windows images on end-user workstations. Deploy Windows service packs, patches, and updates. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco IP phones of various models. Set up network configurations on end-user workstations. Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues. Extend network cables from wall sockets to workstations. Regularly update the IT Operational Manual. Note: The job posting is active.
