Role Description MEP Construction Manager: Responsible for leading the MEP team and managing subcontractors, engineers, foremen, and technicians for MEP execution as per project program, specifications, and quality requirements. Responsibilities Responsible for engineering, execution, testing, commissioning, and handover of smaller-scale MEP projects. Assist the Senior Project Manager in executing larger-scale MEP projects. Ensure timely preparation and submission of all relevant documentation, including: coordinated MEP drawings, procurement schedules, project programs and timelines, progress reports, and RFIs. Plan and ensure the availability of all required materials in coordination with procurement, accounts, and suppliers. Track project progress against the master schedule and resolve site-related issues that may cause delays. Coordinate with the main contractor for obtaining MEP clearances. Prepare and submit weekly progress reports to the Project Manager. Monitor site inspections of MEP works and provide timely clearances to the main contractor. Regularly inspect installation work to ensure compliance with MEP specifications and approved drawings. Monitor and control the productivity, quality, and progress of MEP installations. Coordinate and ensure production of As-Built drawings at practical completion. Ensure health & safety procedures are followed by MEP subcontractors and discussed during coordination meetings. Plan and ensure timely testing and commissioning of all MEP systems. Coordinate with relevant authorities for inspections and approvals as per project completion dates. Arrange and coordinate training sessions for the client with MEP contractors at handover. Ensure timely preparation and arrangement of all handover documentation.
