Regional HSE Manager, SME

Location: Dubai Reporting to: Vice President, Southern Middle East This position is responsible for maintaining and improving the QHSE system in the Southern Middle East Region, working within the BV Quality Assurance Systems, the Code of Ethics, and Group policies. Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities Quality Management System Maintain and improve the Quality System in BV SME Region. Ensure processes and procedures for management standards (ISO/IEC 17065, ISO/IEC 17020, ISO 9001, etc.) are established, implemented, and maintained. Report on management system performance to BV top management. Ensure business processes are understood and followed within the region. Conduct internal audits against accreditation standards. Analyze departmental objectives per HSE policies. Monitor quality metrics and staff training on standards. Manage customer surveys and complaints, implementing corrective actions. HSE Management System Provide HSE induction training to all employees. Maintain and improve HSE systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.). Report on HSE performance to Dubai and MER management. Coordinate HSE activities and conduct awareness training. Ensure compliance with legal and company HSE policies. Maintain hazard-free work areas, report hazards and incidents, and participate in investigations. Authorize work stoppages if conditions are unsafe. Promote health & safety and environmental awareness initiatives. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Customer-focused with good organizational skills. ISO 9001 auditor trained; good knowledge of ISO 17020, ISO 17065, HSE standards. Forward-thinking with strong management, communication, and leadership skills.
