IT/OT Security Specialist

Company: ITHR Technologies Consulting LLC Employment Type: Contract Experience: 4-6 years Domain: IT/OT Security Job Overview: ITHR Technologies Consulting LLC is looking for a skilled IT/OT Security Specialist to join a high-impact project in Abu Dhabi on a contract basis . The ideal candidate must have prior experience working with or at ADNOC and a proven track record in IT/OT cybersecurity within industrial environments. Familiarity with IEC 62443 standards will be a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage security controls across IT and OT infrastructure. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability management across ICS, SCADA, and enterprise networks. Support ADNOC-aligned cybersecurity compliance and regulatory initiatives. Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats in OT environments. Collaborate with ADNOC stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams on project deliverables. Ensure proper network segmentation and zoning in line with IEC 62443 frameworks. Provide guidance on the secure configuration of control systems and industrial devices. Requirements: 4-6 years of experience in IT/OT Security, ideally in the oil & gas or energy sector. Mandatory : Prior experience working with or at ADNOC . Good to Have : Strong familiarity with IEC 62443 standards. Solid understanding of OT/ICS protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, OPC). Experience with cybersecurity tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection in industrial environments. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related discipline. Relevant certifications (e.g., GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443, CISSP, CISM) are a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and documentation skills. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
